Seagriculture Asia-Pacific 2nd Edition

The 3rd Annual Low Trophic Aquaculture Workshop - Norway - Ireland Seaweed Partnering Event
We are happy to announce that the 3rd annual workshop of the Low Trophic Aquaculture (LTA) network will be held in Bergen in April 2025, bringing together industry professionals, researchers, NGOs, and policymakers. New this year, the workshop will be part of the Norway - Ireland Seaweed Partnering Event, a collaboration between the Norwegian and Irish seaweed farming industries. The event is hosted by the Norwegian Seaweed Association and sponsored by the Horizon Europe project C-FAARER and Nofima.

INTERNATIONAL SEAWEED SYMPOSIUM 2025
The International Seaweed Association is excited to announce the 25th International Seaweed Symposium (ISS), to be held in the scenic coastal city of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. This landmark event, taking place on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees), Xwsepsum (Esquimalt), and W̱SÁNEĆ (Saanich Peninsula) Nations, celebrates the rich history and ongoing relationship between Indigenous Peoples and seaweed.
European Maritime Day 2025
European Maritime Day 2025 will be held in Cork, Ireland, featuring in-person and live-streamed sessions. This annual event celebrates Europe’s seas and maritime sectors, offering networking, workshops, and discussions on the blue economy and marine sustainability.
